Sustainable Float Glass is a sheet of glass made by floating molten glass on a bed of molten metal, normally tin, although lead and various low melting point blends were used in the past.
This method gives the sheet uniform texture and very flat surfaces.
Most Sustainable Float Glass is soda-lime glass, but fairly minor quantities of specialty borosilicate and flat panel display glass are also produced using this eco glass process.
The basic Sustainable Product for the industry, this can be processed in many different ways and used in unlimited applications, depending on your needs.
