Green Marine Conservation Philippines is a non-profit non-government environmental organization committed to preserve and protect coastal resources in the Philippines, through sustainable Education, volunteerism and research.
They engage local communities and policy makers and work to ensure solutions that will benefit both man and nature in the long run.
Their underwater world is under tremendous pressure - too much garbage and litter, especially plastic is being thrown in, lots of fish are being fished out.
Initially all of Green Marine Conservation Philippines volunteers and interns are trained to and beyond the requirements set forth by PADI to make them PADI Advanced, PADI Open Water, and PADI Rescue divers.
After this primary stage, the scientific diver training begins. Divers who stay with them for over 2 months can become licensed scientific divers through AAUS, and become PADI dive masters as well, should they so wish.
