Disaster Preparedness Forum 2014

CSR Asia, as a leading provider of advisory, research and training services on Sustainable Business practices in Asia is hosting the second annual Dissaster Preparedness Forum sponsored by Prudence Foundation. This forum will be held in Manila after its success with the first forum which has held in Jakarta.

There are many region's countries exposed to typhoons, earthquakes, floods, and volcano eruptions. With disasters increasingly impacting the Asia-Pacific Region, it requires the greater collaboration to integrate disaster risk reduction into recovery and reconstruction efforts and build capacity for enhanced responses to future disaster.

There were more than 100 key leaders in business, humanitarian, NGO and government sector across the Asia-Pacific region attending the first forum in Jakarta in November 2013. There will be more sectors with an interest in collaborative approaches to disaster preparedness, response and recovery attend and join us to explore and discuss opportunities for cooperation on disaster recovery with a focus on building capacities well before a disaster hits.
