Established since 1980, CEMS is a regional organiser with a global perspective. A key player in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions (MICE) industry in Singapore, CEMS has vast knowledge and experience in organising and managing exhibitions and conferences for government agencies, associations and private enterprises.

Our business activities span many countries in South East Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and recently Myanmar as well as other Asia countries like China and Pakistan. As part of its expansion programme, CEMS has an office in Beijing, China; as well as an affiliated office in Karachi, Pakistan.

Amongst others, our portfolio of exhibitions includes the Glasstech Asia, the second largest specialized glass exhibition in Asia Pacific, IGATEX, one of the most established exhibitions for the textile and garment industry in the world as well as Beijing International Tourism Expo, which is the key tourism event in the capital of China.  On a local front, CEMS owns and organises several key exhibitions such as Safety & Security Asia, the premium security exhibition widely recognized as the gateway to South East Asia market, Singapore International Jewelry Expo, International Facility Management Expo as well as LEDTEC Asia which serves the fast growing LED lightings industry.

In terms of conferences, CEMS has acted as a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) for several trade associations and medical societies in managing their regional and international meetings and congresses.  Amongst them were the 24th Convention of the Institute of Brewing, 26th Congress of the International Society of Hematology, Water Environmental Federation (WEF) Technical Conference, Human Resource Development Conference, 35th General Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) Congress and 25th International Congress of Applied Psychology etc.

For the past two decades, CEMS had formed strategic partnerships with both local and international organisations to achieve mutually desirable goals in the MICE industry. This had included collaboration with Singapore Glass Association and EXPORUM Inc. from Korea.  CEMS continues to seek new strategic alliances with interested parties.

In 2004, CEMS was appointed by a renowned industry organisation - International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) as its Asia Pacific Representative Office.

In all, CEMS has been involved in more than 300 major conventions and exhibitions in the Asia Pacific region since 1980.

Why we are a green organisation

CEMS’s inaugural presentation of the International Facility Management Expo (iFaME) 2013 is all about sustainability.

The need for sustainable facility management is more pressing than ever, with companies seeing the need to better manage their infrastructure, buildings, working spaces and properties. On local shores, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) has implemented various Green Mark Incentive Schemes to encourage the green facelift of Singapore’s urban landscape, such as the Building Retrofit Energy Efficiency Financing (BREEF) Singapore to incentivize energy efficient retrofits under an Energy Performance Contract Agreement. The global facilities management market has also been forecasted to grow up to USD$394.69 billion by 2017.

Thus, iFaME 2013, the most supported supported and anticipated facility management show in Singapore will place its focus on retrofitting existing infrastructure into a building worthy of the Green Mark Standard. iFaME 2013 will be held from 7 - 9 May 2013, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
