Established in 1999, Because We Care launched its first range of Biodegradable & Compostable products in 2006. Since then, Because We Care have grown to be one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of raw materials and finished products within the Biodegradable & Compostable arena.

Because We Care has developed a range of Biodegradable and Compostable products designed specifically to provide an environmentally friendly solution to the growing plastic pollution around the globe.

Made in combination with corn starch, Because We Care has a wide of range of products on offer ranging from our retail supermarket shopping bags through to household waste bin liners through to our horticulture and food service ware range.

Certified by various international standards across the USA, Europe and Australia, Because We Care’s products are third party tested so as to verify our claim to Biodegradability and Compostability. With our certifications, our products can be disposed of within an industrial composting facility where our products will decompose within 45 days in to C02, Humus and Water.
