Green Path Transfers

Green Path Transfers is a brand-new, global, eco-friendly airport transfer and ground transportation network. We are currently operational in over 30 destinations around the world, with over 100 expected by the end of this year. Our focus is on partnering with local operators who have made a commitment to environmental sustainability, especially through the use of low emission fuels or engines, such as hybrid vehicles, biofuels and so on. As well as this, we offset 100% of all emissions produced, through 3rd party offsetting organisations.

Why we are a green organisation

Green Path Transfers is committed to a sustainable and responsible travel industry. This means, wherever possible, we partner with transfer companies that are already using low carbon emission vehicles to operate our transfers. Where such operators cannot be found we work with partners who have committed to minimise their carbon footprint over time. As well as this, every single one of our transfers is 100% carbon offset.

Green Path Transfers will also:

1. Provide incentives (financial and otherwise) to all partners to begin switching their fleet over to any lower carbon options available to them.

2. Heavily promote, on the main Green Path Transfers web site, newsletter and through other media channels, those partners using low carbon options within the Green Path Transfers network.

3. Run a feed across all web sites in the network displaying innovations in green living, with a special emphasis on transportation.

4. Build affiliations with groups globally involved in responsible and sustainable travel.

5. Work with carbon offset partners (such as Blue Ventures Carbon Offsets and Atmosfair) to try and support innovations in low carbon transport in the countries we are servicing. More information about this can be found by going to our Carbon Offset page.

6. Work with whl.travel and other WHL Group companies to make all operations of the company carbon neutral by both minimising our own carbon footprint and offsetting that which we cannot avoid.

7. Have a majority (>50%) of Green Path Transfer Partners globally using low carbon emission vehicles by 2020. We expect this figure to be significantly higher in developed destinations (such as Europe and North America), where low carbon-emission vehicles are much more readily available.
