- Our Corporate Finance and Strategic Advisory Practice offers a comprehensive range of financial solutions, transaction execution functions on the buy-side and sell-side, as well as advice on financing strategy and management and operational support to businesses (or their major shareholders) seeking to:-

· Our Business Partnering and International Representation Practice acts as partner in SE Asia and India for businesses expanding into the region that require a “local champion” who can provide on-the-ground representation and operational support, as well as introduce and promote them to potential clients and strategic partners, and enhance awareness among the broader local investment and business communities. Our aim is to reduce the cost, set-up time and much of the risk associated with international expansion.

· For offshore funds investing in SE Asia and India, typically Hedge Funds, and Buy-out, PE and VC Funds – we assist in deal origination and execution and advise on realisations, and help them to form co-investment alliances and strategic partnerships with local investors. We also make available our Corporate Finance and Business Partnering services to their portfolio companies.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENTS:

· Advising the owner (a major Asian industrial group) of a technology that enables fermentation of cellulosic agricultural biomass into fuel ethanol and related chemicals on (1) commercialisation and scale-up, (2) licensing, strategic partnering and research collaboration, and (3) raising funding;

· Advising a US group with an combustion and gasification technology that converts municipal solid waste (MSW) into electricity with high efficiency on establishing and capitalising joint ventures with landfill operators in Asia-Pacific region;

· Advising the owner of a substantial stake in a 1,000MW coal-fired Indian power producer on its sale to a strategic investor;

· Acting as Advisor to Navis Capital, (www.naviscapital.com) a private equity fund management firm specializing in buyouts with US$3.3 billion under management, based in Malaysia, on origination of investments, with primary focus on India, also Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, HK/China and Australia. Sectors of particular interest include all types of consumer products and services, healthcare, education, entertainment, leisure, BPO, supplies and services to industry and business, waste management and light manufacturing;
